This page is provided to explain how Rainier Therapy Billing handles information and messaging. Practices we support may have additional policies and a patient portal with separate terms.

Information we collect

We may receive contact and billing-related information from the practices we support, including names, phone numbers, email addresses, appointment billing details, and claim/payment status information.

How we use information

  • To perform billing and administrative services for supported practices
  • To follow up on claims, denials, payments, and balances
  • To communicate operationally with practice staff and (when authorized) patients/clients

Text messaging (SMS)

We may send SMS messages for operational purposes (e.g., billing questions, payment reminders, portal reminders) when the recipient has provided consent to the practice and/or to us. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply.

  • Opt-out: Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
  • Help: Reply HELP or email us for assistance.
  • Consent: Consent is not a condition of purchasing services.

Data sharing

We do not sell personal information. Information may be shared only as necessary to provide services (e.g., with payers, clearinghouses, or software vendors used by the supported practice) and as required by law.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the services provided. Do not send sensitive medical details via standard email or SMS; use the supported practice’s patient portal when available.
